Effective 1 September 2026. Paid Reddit work must be clear to the people who read it.
Put disclosure in the content#
Every public post or comment created for a Doublebirr task must include the disclosure line in the brief. Place it in the post or comment itself where an ordinary reader will notice it. A profile note, vague hashtag, or disclosure hidden behind a link is not enough.
Be truthful#
Share only opinions you genuinely hold and experiences you actually had. Do not make unsupported claims or say that you used a product when you did not. If you received payment, a free product, or another benefit, the material connection must be clear.
Use your own account#
You publish through your own Reddit account and remain responsible for Reddit's rules and each community's standards. Do not impersonate another person, use account farms, evade moderation, or conceal that the content is sponsored.
Verification and review#
Automated checks may look for the required line on the submitted permalink. Platform staff—not advertisers— perform the completion review. Missing, altered, or unclear disclosure must be corrected before approval.
No engagement manipulation#
Do not buy, sell, coordinate, or condition payment on votes or artificial engagement. Brigading, scripted replies, fake consensus, and requests for others to boost campaign content are prohibited.
Report a concern#
If a brief asks you to hide sponsorship or mislead readers, do not complete it. Report it to hello@doublebirr.com.
